FAQ

What types of photography services do you offer?
As a newborn and family photographer, I focus on capturing family memories from bump to baby and all the lovely stuff that comes after that!
How do I book a photography session?
Just pop me a message, email or whatsapp and we find the perfect time and place.
Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?
Absolutely! Whether it's at your home or a scenic outdoor location, we will work together to pick the perfect place.
How long does a typical photo session last?
Photo sessions tend to last between 1-2 hours, we want to keep everyone engaged and happy, the session won't feel regimented and will go with the flow that fits your family, snack breaks and all.
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
We understand the anticipation of seeing your final photos. My editing process typically takes 2-3 weeks, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required.
What happens if it rains?
If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we can discuss alternatives such as rescheduling the session or finding an indoor location.
What's included in the £99 session fee?
Your £99 session fee includes a pre-session questionnaire, styling and outfit guide, session planning support, a 1-2 hour photoshoot, professional editing, and a private online gallery where you can view your images and choose your favourites.
Are any digital images included?
No, digital images are purchased separately after you've viewed your gallery. This allows you to have a lower initial outlay and then choose only the images you love.
How many images will I receive in my gallery?
Every session is different, but you can typically expect a gallery of at least 40 beautifully edited images to choose from.
When do I choose my image collection?
You'll choose your collection after receiving your password protected online gallery. This means there's no pressure to decide before seeing your images and you can take time to review them at home.
Why aren't digital images included in the session fee?
The session fee covers the time and expertise involved in planning, photographing, and professionally editing your images. By purchasing images separately, you're free to choose the collection that best suits your family and budget, ensuring you only pay for the images you truly love.
Do grandparents need to purchase their own images?
No. Once you've purchased your chosen collection, you're welcome to share your images with family members for personal use.
Can I order prints through you?
Yes! Professional-quality prints and wall art are available directly through your online gallery. Ordering through your gallery ensures your images are printed using trusted professional labs for the best colour, quality, and longevity.
Can I order prints later?
Of course! provided your gallery is still active. If you'd like to order products after your gallery has expired, please get in touch and I'll do my best to help.
Do I have to buy prints through you?
Not at all! All purchased digital images come with personal printing rights, so you're welcome to print them wherever you'd like. However, I recommend ordering through your gallery for the highest quality results.
What products are available?
A range of professional products will be available through your online gallery, including:
- Prints
- Framed prints
- Canvas wall art
- Photo books and albums
- Gift prints for family members
Available products may vary throughout the year.
Do you offer payment plans?
Please get in touch if you'd like to discuss spreading the cost of your image collection.
What do most families invest?
Most families choose either the 10-image collection or the full gallery, making a typical investment between £324 and £449 including the session fee.
Can we have grandparents in the photos
Yes of course- multigenerational photos are great! I do suggest the maximum number of participants is 6 people.
When in my pregnancy should I have maternity photos?
As a photographer (and mum!) I'd recommend booking the shoot when mum is between 28 and 36 weeks pregnant, with 30-34 weeks being the *sweet spot* for most pregnancies. Each pregnancy is different; I will work with each mum to be to find what works for you.
When should I have my newborn photos taken?
If you want sleepy baby photos aim for 2-3 weeks old. Older photos are lovely too, your baby will be slightly more alert, it all depends on your circumstances and personal preference.
My house is messy. Can I still have an in-home session?
Absolutely! Most family homes are, and should be lived in, especially with a new baby or children! I focus on natural moments and beautiful light, not perfect rooms. We can easily tidy a small area if needed, and I'll guide you every step of the way.
What should we wear?
I have a fantastic outfit guide that I will share with you with lots of suggestions and inspo. coordinating but not matching is the *key* to timeliness photos.
Your photographs are meant to be enjoyed, not hidden away on a computer (trust me, my house is bursting with photo frames!). Whether it's a beautiful framed print for your hallway, a gallery wall of family memories, or a collection of prints for grandparents, I'm passionate about helping you turn your photographs into artwork you'll enjoy every day.
