The Client Wardrobe

Beautiful pieces, ready for your session

Deciding what to wear for family photographs can sometimes feel like the hardest part of getting ready for your session — which is why I’m slowly building a collection of beautiful, timeless pieces that my clients can borrow.

My Client Wardrobe is available at no additional cost with your photography session and includes a carefully chosen collection of dresses, tops and other pieces that photograph beautifully and work perfectly with my relaxed, natural style of photography.

Think soft textures, warm neutral tones, natural fabrics and easy, flattering shapes.

How does it work?

Have a browse through the pieces below and, if you spot something you love, simply let me know before your session.

I can bring your chosen pieces along for you to try on, so there’s no pressure to decide until you see how they feel. Depending on your session, you might choose to wear something from the wardrobe for the whole shoot, use it for just part of your session, or simply use the collection as inspiration for your own outfit.

You absolutely don't need to dress the whole family from the Client Wardrobe. In fact, it often works beautifully to choose one key piece and then build everyone else's outfits around it.

Why have a Client Wardrobe?

The colours, fabrics and textures you wear can make a surprisingly big difference to the overall feel of your photographs.

I've chosen pieces that work beautifully with the warm, natural tones you see throughout my work and that complement the locations I love to photograph in — from cosy newborn sessions at home to long grass, woodland and the Hampshire countryside.

Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable and like yourself.

The Client Wardrobe isn't about making everyone look the same. It's simply there to take a little bit of the stress out of getting ready and help us create photographs that feel relaxed, timeless and beautifully put together.

What's available?

I'm continually adding to the collection, so you'll find the current pieces available to borrow below.

Each item includes information on size, fit and suitability for maternity, where relevant.

See something you love?

Send me a message with the name of the piece and I'll make sure I bring it along to your session.

What about everyone else?

Once you've chosen your outfit, I can help you coordinate the rest of the family.

Rather than everyone matching, I usually recommend choosing complementary colours, mixing textures and keeping patterns and logos to a minimum. The aim is for everything to work together without looking overly styled.

You'll also receive my full What to Wear Guide ahead of your session, and I'm always happy for you to send me photographs of outfit options if you'd like a second opinion.

Your photographs should feel like you.

Whether you borrow something from the Client Wardrobe or wear something you already own and love, the most important thing is that you feel comfortable.

Bare feet, rolled-up sleeves, chunky knits, floaty dresses, little ones in dungarees — it's all about creating something that feels natural to your family.
