(Some of) My Story
Hi, I'm Beth.
After 11 years in the corporate world, a wedding, three house moves and two gorgeous boys later, I found myself craving something more. I wanted more flexibility, more time with my family, and a creative outlet that genuinely excited me.
If I rewind a little to 2023, my eldest, Freddie, was 18 months, I was pregnant with Henry, and life felt incredibly busy. I was working full time, with little to no support network and feeling increasingly exhausted by the constant juggle between work and home.
Enter *phase one*; My husband and I sold our house in Southampton and moved back to Alresford, where I grew up. We wanted to be closer to family and my childhood friends in the same phase of life. In true Grand Designs fashion, we bought a complete renovation project. While heavily pregnant, working full time and looking after a toddler. Somehow, we managed to move in just two weeks before Henry arrived which was not stressful at all.
The move allowed us to reduce our outgoings and start building the life we'd always talked about. We both reduced our working hours and began our journey toward the elusive dream of work-life balance.
Then, in 2026, my company underwent a restructure and part-time working was no longer an option for me, this was a shock to be honest, I had been at the same company since I left university, honestly? It was terrifying. But deep down, I knew this was the opportunity I'd been waiting for, I just needed the push.
I've always loved photography. I've been the person documenting family holidays, capturing everyday moments, and filling my phone and home with photographs. More than that, I'm a complete photo hoarder. Our house is filled with smiling faces and precious memories, for years, I found myself thinking, "I'd love to do photography for a living." But like many people wanting to make a big career change, I talked myself out of it. The security of a corporate career felt safer than taking a leap into something new.
Eventually, I realised that if I wanted to create the life I wanted, I had to be brave enough to make a change.
And so, Beth Moore Photography was born.
My photography style is relaxed, child-led and focused on genuine connection. Of course, there's a time and place for looking at the camera, but the images I treasure most are the ones that capture real personalities, authentic smiles and the beautiful relationships between the people we love.
Starting this business has reminded me what it feels like to be excited about work again, and I hope that joy shines through in every image I create.
I'd love to help tell your family's story and capture this chapter of your life, exactly as it is right now, because these moments are worth remembering.
Beth x
