The newborn days are full of moments you think you'll remember forever — the way they curl up against you, their tiny hands, sleepy stretches and just how small they feel in your arms.

My newborn photography sessions across Hampshire are a relaxed way to preserve those details, without needing to leave your house *dream*.

There are no complicated poses, studio lights or expectations for your baby to behave in a certain way. I photograph your family naturally, taking plenty of time for cuddles, feeds, changes and breaks along the way.

The result is a gallery that doesn't just show you what your baby looked like, but captures a little of what those first weeks together actually felt like.

Why have your newborn photoshoot at home?

Because with a brand-new baby, home is often exactly where you want to be.

Rather than packing a changing bag, timing feeds and worrying about getting somewhere on time, I bring your newborn photography session to you.

Your home also gives your photographs something a studio can't — your story.

Your baby curled up on your bed. Cuddles on the sofa. Their nursery that you spent months preparing. An older sibling peering into the cot.

These everyday spaces might not feel particularly significant now, but they'll become part of your memories of this stage of family life.

And please don't worry about having a perfectly styled house. I don't need lots of space or pristine rooms. I'll find the best natural light and we can photograph your family in the areas that work beautifully.

What does a newborn photography session look like?

Very relaxed!

I don't expect your baby to sleep through the session and I won't spend hours trying to get them into a particular pose (no babies in a basket here, no shade).

If they need feeding, we stop.

If they need changing, we stop.

If they just want to be held by you, that's absolutely fine too — because those cuddles often create some of the most meaningful photographs.

I'll gently guide you when needed, but much of the session is about allowing you to interact naturally with your baby while I photograph all those little moments in between.

Newborn photography for the whole family

Although your new arrival might be the reason I'm there, newborn sessions aren't only about the baby.

I want to capture this chapter of your whole family's story.

That might mean photographs of your baby alone, quiet moments with Mum, cuddles with Dad and plenty of photographs of everyone together.

And if there are older brothers and sisters, I absolutely want them involved too.

There is no expectation for young children to sit perfectly and pose beside their new sibling.

My approach is relaxed and child-led, so we'll let them dip in and out of the session, play, cuddle and interact in whatever way feels natural.

Sometimes the imperfect moments are the ones you'll love most.

I'm based in Alresford and photograph newborn families across Hampshire, travelling to you so that your session can take place in your own home.

I cover areas including Winchester, Alresford, Basingstoke, Petersfield, Southampton and the surrounding Hampshire towns and villages.
